Budget review meetings take place in late summer, near the end of the County's annual budget planning cycle. Representatives from departments and agencies present their business plans and proposed budgets to Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash and members of the budget review team, which includes several Gwinnett residents and County staff. This year, Nash has tapped five residents to help review needs and allocate resources for the 2016 budget.
The Chairman’s proposed 2016 budget will be made available to the public and news media at the same time it is presented to commissioners on November 17. A public hearing on the budget will be held on December 7. By County ordinance, the Board of Commissioners must adopt the annual budget during its first meeting in January.
The presentations will be aired on TVgwinnett, the County’s government access cable television, and made available on demand on this web page. Click the links below to watch the presentations or view the materials.
