The Gwinnett County Transit Team is excited to debut the new Microtransit Pilot that runs for FREE in Snellville! GCT launched the new flex service on September 17, 2018 exclusively for the Snellville area. Providing an on-demand public transportation option, riders are able to be picked up and dropped off door-to-door within a specific zone in Snellville. They can do this by the push of a button on the Microtransit app or by phone at 770.822.5010.

Why a Pilot?
Once the pilot completes, Gwinnett County Transit will evaluate the data to identify what works well and what needs improvements, and will roll it back out to Snellville and Buford the following year. These are areas currently without local transit options, and they have been recognized in the Connect Gwinnett: Transit Plan.
Who Can Ride Microtransit?
Everyone can use this on-demand service option. All vehicles used are ADA accessible for individuals with disabilities. There will be no bike racks on the vehicles during the pilot. If a child is in a stroller, they must be taken out and seated in their parent or guardian’s lap. A child in a car seat can remain in their car seat, and be secured into Microtransit vehicle seating. All young children must be accompanied by an adult.
When Will the Service Run?
The service began on September 17, 2018. Microtransit will run Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 8:30pm and Saturday from 7:00am to 7:00pm. The free pilot service will last through April 30, 2019.

- Enter your passenger count.
- Enter if you use a wheelchair or other mobility device.
- Enter your pick-up time to get Microtransit’s on-demand ride.
