Toilet Rebate Program
Gwinnett water customers are eligible for a $100 rebate per toilet by replacing old toilets with qualifying 1.1 gallons per flush (gpf) or less WaterSense certified toilets. A $50 rebate is available for all other WaterSense labeled toilets that are 1.28 gpf or less.
Single family residential
- Home must be built before 1993
- Maximum of two toilets will be rebated per household

Multi-family property owner
- Toilet rebates are also available for apartment, condominium, and townhome complexes

The rebate is a lump sum amount that is credited to your water bill. Program funds are limited, with rebates granted on a first-come, first-served basis. If funds are no longer available and you do not receive a rebate this year, you are encouraged to reapply next year.
Toilet Recycling
Gwinnett County offers free toilet recycling to homeowners and renters. The DWR Central Facility accepts toilets for recycling 24/7 at our unmanned drop-off location. Please remove the toilet seat and any plastic or metal parts, including handles.
Access is only available from the Hosea Road entrance. Follow signs directing you to the collection area. Approximate address is: 55 Seaboard Industrial Drive, Lawrenceville.
