Department of Corrections hosts Job Fair Dec. 7

People looking for an interesting career in public safety with good benefits should consider attending the Gwinnett County Department of Corrections job fair Dec. 7.

Corrections is hiring correctional officers and is staging the first phase of the hiring process at the job fair from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Corrections’ headquarters, 750 Hi Hope Road in Lawrenceville. The event features mini-tours of the facility, situational role-playing, and preliminary interviews.

Attendees are encouraged to apply online for the Correctional Officer position on GwinnettCountyJobs.com. To speed the process, applicants also should fill out a preliminary background packet at bit.ly/DOCBooklet before attending the event. Additional instructions will be emailed to candidates following completion of the application.
