Last chance to take the 2020 Census
– September 22, 2020
While more than 70 percent of Gwinnett County households have participated in the census, it is crucial that every household completes the survey by the deadline, September 30, 2020. Census takers are out in the community to count households that haven’t participated, but you can save them the trip to your door and help ensure a complete count by participating today at My2020Census.gov. It takes less than 10 minutes to benefit your community for the next 10 years.
The federal government often uses population data to determine how to allocate resources. Census data is also used to determine future planning for schools, hospitals, roads, and other vital community resources. Remember, when you complete the census, your private information is confidential by law and can’t be shared with any other agency. You can complete your questionnaire online, by phone, or by mail.
