(Lawrenceville, Ga., April 5, 2021) – On February 1^st, Gwinnett County Commissioners adopted a resolution to establish the first Gwinnett County Police Citizens Advisory Board.  The mission of the board is to develop and maintain a partnership with the police department for the purpose of engaging in problem-solving processes that support the community and the department’s desire to enhance public safety.

The board is made up of residents of Gwinnett County who are each selected by a commissioner or professional entity within the county.  The people who were chosen for the board and who selected them are as follows (or click here for the full bios):
