(Peachtree Corners, Ga., Sunday, February 14, 2021) – The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place at the front entrance of a local apartment complex. 

At around 11:30am, officers assigned to the West Precinct were dispatched to a “person shot” call at 1700 Hunters Ridge Lane in Peachtree Corners.  When officers arrived, they found a black male laying on the ground with at least one gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died. 

A nearby resident reported that his home was penetrated by one of the gunshots.  No inside this apartment was injured. 

The suspect(s) in this case is unknown.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

Residents in this apartment complex are encouraged to report any suspicious activity on any personally owned surveillance cameras.
