UPDATE: The victim in this case has been identified as Kendall Reid (22 year old male from Peachtree Corners).  Investigators have obtained warrants for Aaron Woods (22 years old from Peachtree Corners) for Aggravated Assault and Felony Murder. 

Detectives believe that Reid and Woods were family acquaintances and met with each other at the location of the murder.  When they arrived, they had an altercation and investigators believe Woods shot Reid.  Woods is not in custody.  Detectives are asking anyone with information on his location to contact the police immediately.

ORIGINAL: (Peachtree Corners, Ga., April 25, 2021) – The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a man in front of a convenience store.

Officers assigned to the West Precinct were dispatched to a “person shot” call in front of 3330 Peachtree Corners Circle in Peachtree Corners.  When they arrived, they located a male lying in the parking lot in between two parked cars with at least one gunshot wound.  Members of the Gwinnett County Fire Department responded and attempted to render aid.  The victim died at the scene. 

Detectives are working with the business to determine if their video cameras captured the crime or anything significant to this investigation.

The victim is a black male in his 20s.  He was a frequent customer to the business.
