UPDATE #1: Homicide – 1960 Day Drive, Duluth

(Duluth, Georgia)  *UPDATE* One of the deceased has been identified as James Kim, 47 years old, and the co-owner of the bar. At this time, detectives believe Kim was uninvolved in the altercation at the bar and was caught in the crossfire. The next of kin for the other individual deceased has not yet been notified, and his identity is still being withheld. Detectives are actively working to develop leads on the suspect or suspects and welcome any information from the public related to the incident.

Original Release - At 2:30 AM, Gwinnett County Police responded to a report of shots fired at 1960 Day Drive, at Prime Bar and Grill, in unincorporated Duluth. They discovered two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Both individuals were later pronounced deceased at the hospital. Their identities are being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

It appears that the shooting was part of an altercation at the bar and occurred on the sidewalk and in the parking lot outside. Detectives are asking the public to call in if they saw or heard anything related to the incident.
