UPDATE: The victims in this case have been identified as: Pascual Jose Sarabia (21 year old male from Norcross) who was found deceased on scene. ORIGINAL: (Snellville, Ga., September 19, 2021) – The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place in a Snellville neighborhood earlier this morning.

Shortly after 2 am, officers assigned to the South Precinct were dispatched to a “person shot” call on Forrest Bend Lane in Snellville. When officers arrived, they found one deceased male with a gunshot wound to the torso inside of the residence. Homicide detectives are currently investigating, and the Crime Scene Unit is processing the scene.  Detectives are still working on the timeline of events that led up to the homicide.  There has not been a motive identified at this time.  The name of the victim is being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
