Update #1, 02/06/2020: The victim has been identified as 20-year old Jamun El Winslow (Lawrenceville).Detectives are still seeking information about this case through Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.

Original, 02/06/2020: (Duluth, Georgia) The GCPD Homicide Unit is investigating a Duluth homicide that has two crime scenes.

Shortly after 10pm on Wednesday, January 5, officers were dispatched to a person shot call at the Shell Gas Station located at 1515 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth. Officers were unable to locate a victim in that parking lot. Concerned for the victim’s safety, officers began to canvass the area. The victim was located in front of the apartments at 3740 Club Drive, just a short distance away. The victim’s vehicle (a silver passenger car) was disabled in the roadway from a possible accident.

Officers approached the vehicle and located the victim deceased inside. Information on the victim will be released once the next of kin is notified.
