Jewelry Heist Robbery, +$100k in Jewelry Stolen

(Lawrenceville, Georgia)  In less than thirty seconds, two suspects managed to steal about $100,000 in jewelry from a local jewelry store.  The case has been assigned to the Robbery Unit, and we need the public’s help to identify the suspects responsible.

On Monday, April 15, at around 11:50 AM, two black males walked into the Crescent Jewelers at 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway in unincorporated Lawrenceville.  They pretended to be customers inquiring about some jewelry.

As they were speaking with the clerk, one suspect pulled out a hammer and began smashing the glass display cases.  The other suspect reached into the displays, grabbed trays of jewelry, and placed them into his bag.  Both suspects ran from the store and out of the shopping mall.

According to the initial report, the suspects were last seen getting into a black Mitsubishi SUV and driving out of the parking lot.

We are encouraging the public to view the images and video.  If anyone know who these suspects are, please contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.stopcrimeATL.com.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  Case Number:  19-033507
