SWAT Activation Results in One Arrest

(Snellville, Georgia)  A SWAT activation has resulted in the arrest of one person for an outstanding warrant from South Carolina.

Earlier this morning, the Gwinnett County Police Department was asked to assist the Secret Service with serving a warrant at a home on Riversound Drive in unincorporated Snellville.  Out of abundance of caution, it was decided that the SWAT Team would be utilized. 

Officers were looking for two suspects.  Kevis D. Price (age 29) had an active warrant for Aggravated Assault, and Tiyon K. Sanders (age 25) had an active warrant for Armed Robbery.  Both warrants were issued by the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina.

After several hours, Kevis D. Price was taken into custody.  The home was searched for the second suspect.  He was not in the home.
