UPDATE #1: Suspect Steals High-end Vacuums and Electronics Totaling over $1600 – Suspect Identified and Charged

Update #1, 02/07/19: The suspect has been identified as Gage Tinker (26) of Cumming, Georgia.  The lead detective has obtained a warrant for Gage’s arrest.  He is charged with Felony Shoplifting and has been arrested.  Gage is currently being held in the Gwinnett County Detention Center. 

Original 02/05/19: (Dacula, Georgia) Gwinnett Police need the public’s help in identifying a shoplifter that has hit at least two stores for over $1600.  On February 2 the suspect entered the Kohl’s located at 2270 Hamilton Mill Parkway in Dacula.  He walked around the store for approximately 15 minutes before grabbing two high-end vacuums and running out.  He gets into the passenger side of a black sedan.

This suspect is believed to also be responsible for a theft on December 27, 2018 at Microcenter located at 2340 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth.  The suspect selects two electronics items and puts them in a shopping cart.  He pushes them toward the entrance door while on his phone.  He waits a brief time, grabs the items from the cart, and runs out of the store.
