Suspect Steals Over $14,000 in Jewelry While Employee is Distracted
(Duluth, Georgia) Gwinnett Police need the public’s help in identifying a jewel thief. On December 29, 2018 the suspect enters SR Jewelers located at 2100 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth. An employee was helping three other individuals and her view of one side of the store was blocked. During that time the suspect came in and was able to access a display case. He took at least 15 pieces of jewelry valued at over $14,000.
The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his 30’s – 40’s, 5’06” – 5’8” tall, and 160 – 180 pounds. He was wearing a grayish colored beanie with a white design, sunglasses, a black and gray jacket, pink polo type shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.
