UPDATE: Suspect Wanted in Multiple Robberies – Suspect Identified, Warrants Obtained

Update #1, 09/07/2018:

Following the robbery at the Intermex Wire Transfer, the Crime Scene Unit was called to the scene to attempt to collect evidence.  The victim’s cell phone was dusted for fingerprints.  One fingerprint of value was lifted. The print was scanned through the Advanced Fingerprint Index System (AFIS) for comparison.  A match was identified to a suspect who was previously detained by the Duluth Police Department in February 2018.

The detective assigned to these robberies obtained the body worn camera footage of the February 2018 interaction with the suspect.  After reviewing the footage, the detective felt confident that the suspect in the footage was the same suspect in both robberies.

Andres Cuero-Marroquin (age 27) is facing two warrants for Robbery and one warrant for False Imprisonment.  Andres’s current location is unknown.

If anyone knows where he can be located, we urge tipsters to call the non-emergency line of the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770 513-5700.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  Case Numbers:  18-072831 (Spy Insurance) & 18-079381 (Intermex)
