GWINNETT TO HONOR LOCAL BLACK HISTORY DURING ANNUAL HERITAGE NIGHT CELEBRATION

WHAT:      As Black History Month comes to an end; the County will honor Gwinnett’s Black history and heritage at its annual Black History Month Heritage Night Celebration. With more than 350 people who have RSVP’d, the event will include performances, guest speakers and refreshments from a local soul food restaurant. 

WHO:        The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, Poet Laureate Hank Stewart and other local leaders will share remarks. The Grayson High School Orchestra, Berean Christian Church Choir and North Metro Academy of Performing Arts Chorus and Step Team will perform.

WHEN:      Tuesday, Feb. 21, 6:30 p.m.

WHERE:    Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville
