GWINNETT AWARDS PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS ON SR 120/DULUTH HIGHWAY AND SR 20/GRAYSON HIGHWAY

(Lawrenceville, Ga., Sept. 9, 2021) – The Board of Commissioners on Tuesday awarded pedestrian improvement projects on two of Gwinnett’s major arterials. The Board awarded CMEC, LLC, a contract to install sidewalks and related signals and signage along SR 120/Duluth Highway from Colony Bend Drive to Riverside Parkway and on SR 20/Grayson Highway from Crane Drive to Park Place Drive.

This project will construct new sidewalks along the east side of SR 20/Grayson Highway as well as the north side of SR 120/Duluth Highway. New curb and gutter and associated drainage improvements, as well as the extension of the existing left turn lane on SR 120/Duluth Highway, are also included in the scope of work.

The 2017 SPLOST Program funds this not to exceed $312,693.00 contract.
