GWINNETT COMMISSIONER KIRKLAND CARDEN HOSTS SERIES OF TOWN HALLS AROUND DISTRICT 1

(Lawrenceville, Ga., Aug. 27, 2021) – Gwinnett County’s District 1 Commissioner Kirkland Carden is hosting a series of town halls in September.

The town halls will take place:

  • Thursday, Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Sugar Hill E Center Waterfall Room

Co-hosted with Brandon Hembree, Sugar Hill City Council

  • Thursday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. in the George Pierce Park Community Room, Suwanee

Co-hosted with Heather Hall, Suwanee City Council

  • Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. in the Duluth City Hall Community Room

Co-hosted with Marline Thomas, Duluth City Council

  • Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. in the Sonesta Hotel Independence Ballroom, Duluth

Co-hosted with State Rep. Pedro Marin HD-96

During the sessions, Carden will talk with residents about issues that matter to them most. People in attendance will get a chance to be a part of the conversation by asking questions and making suggestions.

“I look forward to this opportunity to connect with my constituents,” said Carden. “Their voices are important, their feedback matters and this is the perfect time to share what they see as top priorities in their communities.” 

The meetings will also be streamed on Facebook Live @GwinnettGov, but comments will only be accepted in-person.
