Day Care & Community Ratio Guidelines
For capacity reason, all out-of-county inclusive groups, such as day care centers, are only allowed admittance to Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Aquatic facilities after 4:00pm. This includes all adults and children with the group.

For children 6 years old and younger, groups and/or guardians/families must have one adult (18 years or older) in a swimsuit for every three children entering the facility. This adult must be in the water at arm's length of the children at all times.

For children 7 to 10 years old, groups and/or guardians/families must have at least one adult (18 years or older) in a swimsuit for every 10 children entering the facility:

1 to 10 children..............1 adult
11 to 20 children............2 adults
21 to 30 children............3 adults
31 to 40 children............4 adults
41 to 50 children............5 adults
51 to 60 children............6 adults

Each adult is required to be with their children in the water during regular swim and on the deck during safety break. Children must be sent to the bathroom and/or concessions one at a time or an adult must accompany a group.

Accidents need to be reported to a lifeguard or the manager immediately. Camp Counselors and adults are to explain all pool rules to their children and make sure they are followed.
