PARK CONDITIONS
- Tribble Mill Park – The piers, boat ramp, and all access to Ozora Lake are closed for dam restoration by the Department of Water Resources. Access will reopen once the project is completed.
- All outdoor water fountains, interactive fountains, and river channels are closed for the season.
- Yellow River Park – There will be intermittent closures to various trails through the park on Wednesday, February 12 and Thursday, February 13, for staff training activities.
- All natural surface trails and fields are closed due to inclement weather.
- Closures due to flooding:
- George Pierce Park – Ivy Creek Greenway trail connections
- Little Mulberry Park, Miller Loop trail
- Lions Club Park – Camp Creek Greenway
- Yellow River Park trails
MAINTENANCE CLOSURES
- Harmony Grove Park – The restrooms are closed due to water line repair and will reopen upon completion. Port-a-lets are available for use.
RENOVATION CLOSURES
- Dacula Park – The activity building at 2735 Auburn Avenue will be closed for renovation construction beginning Monday, February 10 until completion. There will be intermittent closures to the parking lot through the duration of the project, use caution when in the area. The tennis courts will be open from sunrise to sunset during construction.
- Rabbit Hill Park – Contractors will begin restriping the parking areas the week of February 3. Please use caution when driving in the area and obey traffic route changes.
- Duncan Creek Park – Contractors will begin renovating the parking lot Thursday, February 6. Please use caution when driving in the area and obey traffic route changes.
- Bay Creek Park – The multipurpose field will be closed for renovations beginning November 15, and will reopen upon completion.
- Bryson Park
- The City of Lilburn's construction contractor is currently re-aligning the entrance to the park at Highway 29. The project includes a new signalized intersection and roundabout entrance to the park. Please use caution when driving in the area and obey traffic route changes.
- The multipurpose field will be closed for renovations beginning November 15, and will reopen upon completion.
- Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center – The section of the Ivy Creek Greenway leading to the suspension bridge is closed for a Department of Water Resources project.
- Rhodes Jordan Park – The City of Lawrenceville nearing completion of construction of a trail along the CSX railroad right-of-way that will connect the park to the City of Lawrenceville's downtown core. Please use caution around construction zones in the area. Contact the City of Lawrenceville at 678.407.6698 for more information about the project.
- Simpsonwood Park – There is construction traffic throughout the park due to a Department of Water Resources project, please use caution while in the park. Call 678.376.7027 for more information.
