What is the FUNCARD? The fun cards are a plastic card that will take the place of all previously used swimming pool passes. Categories of the card will include summer seasonal FUNCARD, winter seasonal FUNCARD, annual FUNCARD and a 10 visit FUNCARD for adults and seniors.
When can these be purchased? The summer season FUNCARD can be purchased starting in May. They are good Memorial Day through Labor Day. The winter season FUNCARD can be purchased starting in August. They are good September through May. The annual FUNCARD and the 10 Visit FUNCARD (both good for one year from the date of purchase), may be purchased anytime and are good year round.
What are the breakdowns of the fun cards?In the summer season, winter season and the annual, we offer FUNCARDS ranging from individual to family of 6. We offer rates for both residents and non-residents. Families are considered individuals residing in the same household. Families of 7 people or more will need to purchase additional passes. The 10 visit FUNCARDS are available for adults only, ages 18-49. The senior FUNCARD is good for ages 50 & over.
What are the Fun Cards good for?
FUNCARDS are good for admission to any Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Aquatic Facility. They do not cover class or program fees. All cards are good at any of our facilities.
Who can use the Fun card?
Children, Adults and seniors can all use the FUNCARDS.
Are the Fun Cards Renewable?
Yes. You can renew your FUNCARD season after season. Once you buy the card for a summer season, you can renew it that next May prior to the season. Seasonal cards, however, cannot be renewed for annual cards, and annual cards cannot be changed to seasonal cards.
Where can I purchase the FUNCARD? You may purchase them at the 5 year round aquatic centers: Bethesda Aquatic Center 225 Bethesda Church Road, Lawrenceville, Bogan Aquatic Center 2723 North Bogan Road, Buford, Collins Hill Aquatic Center 2200 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville, Mountain Park Aquatic Center 1063 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain, and West Gwinnett Aquatic Center, 4488 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Norcross.
Where can I use the FUNCARD? FUNCARDS can be used at all Aquatic centers year round and seasonal.
How do you use the FUNCARD?Upon purchasing the FUNCARD, you will be issued a plastic card, similar to your driver's license. We will take the picture of all family members that are on the purchased package. Cards are produced and then presented to you. When you visit one of our aquatic facilities, just present the cards of those who are coming into the facility. The card will be swiped at our front desk and that is it!
Do you still have regular passes?
The FUNCARDS have become our passes.
What is the 10 visit FUNCARD?
The 10 visit FUNCARD is a form of pool pass for those who may not come every day to the facility, but still want the convenience of having a pass to the pool. This can be used for lap swimming, working out in the pool, or just coming to the pool facility for recreational swimming. This FUNCARD card is good for 10 visits to the facility, and can be recharged after 10 visits. We also offer a version of this card for seniors, 50 and older. The 10 visit fun cards are good for Gwinnett County Residents only .
Do I have to have my picture taken? All seasonal and annual FUNCARDS must have a picture taken to associate the pass to the person or persons in the package. 10 visit FUNCARD purchasers do not have to have a picture taken.
Can my child use their FUNCARD without me present? If your child meets the solo entrance criteria of the pool rules, then he/she may enter the pool on their FUNCARD. Please remember that it is your responsibility to keep up with your cards. There is a lost card replacement fee of $5.00!
