Gwinnett County Government is led by a five-member Board of Commissioners. The Board appoints a county administrator, who carries out the policy directives of the Board and manages the day-to-day operations of the administrative departments. In addition to the internal departments that comprise the administrative side of County government, certain services are provided through Constitutional officers and independent elected officials.
