Gwinnett County Human Resources organizational structure consists of HR generalist teams, HRIS specialists, Benefits specialists, and an administrative support staff to provide exemplary quality services to our customers. Departmental responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day activities in areas of Recruitment and Selection, Employee Relations, Compensation, Position Classifications, Employee Records, Organizational Development, Benefits and Administration to enhance customer service and build business partner relationships with county departments
- Development and compliance of polices and procedures including the Merit System Rules and Regulations, Human Resources management policies, federal and state employment and labor laws, and all other policies deemed appropriate and necessary by the County Administrator and Board of Directors
- Prepare and oversee special projects, performance analysis and other various management reports, and analysis of statistical data
- Implement the Board of Commissioners' goals and objectives
