The mission of the Law Department is to enable Gwinnett County, its officials, and employees to accomplish their goals and priorities by providing exceptional legal services.
Law Department attorneys represent the government entity of Gwinnett County, as generally reflected by a majority vote of its Board of Commissioners. Law Department attorneys also represent, on occasion, the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, other elected county officials, employees, managers, staff, authorities, constitutional officers, courts, and other related governmental organizations.
