The Department of Community Services and Gwinnett Parks and Recreation offers opportunities for individuals who must complete court-ordered community service hours.
Ages 16 and older are accepted. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign a liability waiver.
Translators may assist non-English speakers during registration but are not permitted to accompany workers to their assigned work locations. Furthermore, for liability reasons, phones or other translation devices cannot be used at work locations.
Court-ordered community service hours are not available for any charges involving reckless behavior, violence, threats, or physical exchange against people or animals.
