Change in Peachtree Corners Services
|
Gwinnett County no longer provides zoning, plan review, permitting or inspection services within the city limits of Peachtree Corners (with the exception of Water/Sewer and Fire Plan Review services). Peachtree Corners is responsible for enforcing all regulations related to these activities, including variances and appeals from any decision to the Zoning Board of Appeals and Board of Construction Adjustments and Appeals. The Department of Planning and Development will continue to inspect projects that have previously issued active permits. Please contact the city with any questions. Contact information is as follows:

The Current Planning Section within the Department of Planning and Development is responsible for the processing of rezoning, Special Use Permit, Change-in-Conditions, Buffer Reduction, and Moved-in-House applications in unincorporated Gwinnett County. The Current Planning Section also provides staff support to the Gwinnett County Planning Commission.

The Open Records Request Form may be used to request access to documents maintained by the department to inspect or obtain copies under the Georgia Open Records Act. This form is not required to request routinely available records such as agendas, minutes, plats, ordinances, and resolutions. Although Open Records Requests are not required to be submitted in writing, use of this form will aid considerably in ensuring that each request is fulfilled as accurately as possible. Any property owner or owner's agent can apply for a rezoning, Change-in-Conditions or a Special Use Permit on a property. Only complete applications are accepted in person at the Current Planning Section office. An application does not guarantee an approved rezoning or Special Use Permit. Board of Commissioners Resolutions
|
Listed below is a link to the monthly PDF packages that contain the official (signed) resolutions for BRD, CIC, MIH, MUO, RZC, RZM, RZR and SUP cases heard by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. The documents contain the official resolution and legal land description for each case acted upon that month by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. These official resolutions are available approximately one (1) month after the BOC public hearing date.
