Learn MoreWHAT: Gwinnett Animal Welfare and Enforcement is adjusting public hours of operation at the Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center to accommodate seasonal changes in daylight hours.
The shelter and office will open one hour sooner and close one hour sooner Nov. 1 through Feb. 28. The adoption hours will be Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the office hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday and Saturday hours remain unchanged — from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. — and closed to the public on Sundays.
