Learn MoreWHAT: All Gwinnett County government offices, with the exception of those operations required for the comfort and safety of residents, will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s holiday. A Magistrate Court judge will be available at the Gwinnett County Detention Center during the holiday.
Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, will be observed as trash and recycling holidays for residents who live in unincorporated Gwinnett County. Trash and recycling collection services will be delayed by one day following each holiday.
Residents who live within city limits should contact their trash and recycling provider to find out if collection will be delayed due to the holiday. All recyclable items must be placed in a recycling bin. Any items not placed in a container may not be collected. Residents can find their hauler’s contact information at GwinnettCounty.com/ResidentialServices.
WHEN: County offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 22, 2023 and Monday, Dec. 25, 2023 in observation of the Christmas holiday and will reopen during normal business hours Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023.
