(Gwinnett, Ga., December 17, 2013) – Friends of Gwinnett County Senior Services recently received a $4,800 grant from Griswold Cares Foundation and a $3,000 donation from Lawrenceville Woman’s Club.

“Our vision is a future in which all seniors, including those with limited financial means, will have the opportunity to age with dignity in the comfort of their own homes,” said Brad Culp, Owner of Atlanta NE Office of Griswold Home Care.

The grant awarded from Griswold Cares Foundation has been designated to assist seniors with transportation to and from medical appointments for dialysis treatment. The Lawrenceville Woman’s Club contribution will also be used to improve the quality of seniors’ lives in the community.

President of Friends of Gwinnett County Senior Services, John Winters, expresses his appreciation, “We are ever so grateful to Griswold Care Foundation and the Lawrenceville Woman’s Club for recognizing how difficult it is for seniors to get to much needed medical treatments and making it less of a financial burden to make it all possible.”
