GWINNETT COUNTY HOSTS ANNUAL VENDOR NETWORKING EVENT

(Lawrenceville, Ga., April 19, 2016) – Vendors who currently serve Gwinnett County Government, along with potential vendors who want to do business with the County are invited to attend the 10th annual Supplier Symposium on Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center. This free event is hosted by the Gwinnett County Purchasing Division.

Numerous buyers and contracting officers from Gwinnett County Government, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and other metro Atlanta agencies will be on-hand to meet face-to-face with current and potential vendors. Large and small vendors will be able to network with buyers to establish relationships as well as obtain information on current and upcoming projects.

Purchasing Director Bryant Davis said, “For the past 10 years, this event has given vendors the opportunity to become more knowledgeable about doing business with county government and local agencies throughout metro Atlanta. Suppliers are our best resource for keeping abreast of current products, services, updates and new information. We believe a competitive environment helps both buyers and sellers.”

Attendees can register online for this event at www.gwinnettcounty.com. Current open projects and business opportunities are also available on the County’s website along with a how-to manual for doing business with Gwinnett County.
