Learn MoreWHAT: Gwinnett officials will cut the ribbon on the new Singleton Park and Greenway trailhead. The project transformed the former Singleton Activity Building into a 2-acre public space, enhancing access to year-round gatherings and play. The park includes a playground, a covered picnic area, restroom facilities, a 41-space parking lot and a ¾-mile, 12-foot-wide concrete multiuse trail that connects Singleton Road to Dickens Road.
This project is funded in part by Gwinnett’s 2017 SPLOST program and Recreation Fund, the state of Georgia's Improving Neighborhood Outcomes and Disproportionately Impacted Communities Grant and a Community Development Block Grant

WHO: Parks and Recreation Department Director Chris Minor will emcee. Speakers include Gwinnett Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson and District 2 Commissioner Ben Ku.

Parking is available at the Gwinnett Community Resource Center at Georgia Belle Court (formerly OneStop Norcross), located at 5030 Georgia Belle Court in Norcross. A shuttle will take guests to the ribbon cutting site.
