MEDIA ADVISORY: GWINNETT OFFICIALS TO CUT RIBBON ON FIRE STATION 13

WHAT:     Gwinnett officials, in partnership with the city of Suwanee, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Fire Station 13. The facility provides room for 24-hour staffing and three drive-thru apparatus bays. Fire Station 13 will serve more than 29,000 residents and local businesses across 25 square miles. The $7.8 million project is funded by SPLOST.

WHEN:     Monday, Dec. 5, 10 a.m.

WHO:        Fire and Emergency Services Chief Russell Knick will emcee. Speakers include Chairwoman Nicole Hendrickson, District 1 Commissioner Kirkland Carden and Suwanee Mayor Jimmy Burnette.
