(Lawrenceville, Ga., June 16, 2015) – Gwinnett County Government and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host How to Do Business with the County, an annual small business workshop designed to demonstrate that no company is too small to do business with county government. The session will take place on Wednesday, June 17 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the University of Georgia’s Gwinnett Campus, 2530 Sever Road in Lawrenceville.

“Small businesses are important to our local economy, and this event gives owners an opportunity to meet face-to-face with Gwinnett County staff and learn how they can sell their goods or services to the County,” said Board of Commissioners Chairman Charlotte Nash. “I am grateful for our continued partnership with the Chamber that allows us offer this resource to small businesses.”

During the free workshop, small business owners will be able to network with buyers and to obtain information about current and upcoming projects. They will also learn about the business licensing and vendor registration process. Chamber membership is not required to attend the workshop.
