Throughout the year, Gwinnett Water Resources hosts free workshops to help residents protect and conserve our valuable water resources. Learn tips on lowering your water bill, water conservation, landscape solutions, DIY maintenance, and more!

Composting for Water Quality

Thursday, June 18 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Gwinnett Community Resource Center at Bethany Church Road, located at 3025 Bethany Church Road in Snellville

Learn how the resources in your yard can be used to make rich, nutritious compost for your garden, flower bed, or potted plants. 

Stopping Leaks and Saving Water

Thursday, August 6 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm 

Duluth Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library, located at 3180 Main Street in Duluth

Leaks are the primary source of wasted water in our homes. Learn how to use your water meter to perform a leak test, how to find the leak, and how to fix it to save water and money in this workshop. 

Septic System Maintenance and Care

Thursday, August 13 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Water Resources Central Facility, located at 684 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville
Understanding your septic system doesn’t have to be complicated. Learn how to prevent common problems, when regular maintenance is needed, and where to find helpful resources.
