If you want to see more art in your community, we want to hear from you!  

We’re looking for residents in the Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Centerville, Mountain Park neighborhoods, and those near Vulcan Quarry to share ideas for public art and placemaking through words, drawings, or other visual expressions at a Find Your Place pop-up event: 

• Wednesday, July 8 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Lucky Shoals Park Community Recreation Center in Norcross 
• Thursday, July 9 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the Gwinnett Community Resource Center at Bethany Church Road in Snellville 
• Saturday, July 11 from 9:00am to noon at the Gwinnett Community Resource Center on Georgia Belle Court in Norcross (as part of Health Hero Day) 
• Sunday, July 12 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Mountain Park Park in Lilburn 

You will have the opportunity to sketch ideas for public art and share your inspiration by illustrating or describing the people, places, memories, and other elements that make your community unique. Your ideas will help inform the artists' designs and additional placemaking strategies. 

If you are unable to attend an event, you can also submit your ideas by email to NeighborhoodSupport@GwinnettCounty.com through Sunday, July 12.
