Gwinnett County residents are invited to attend the debut of Choppin’ it Up with the Chairwoman, a new live podcast hosted by Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson, on Monday, April 13 at 6 p.m. at the Gas South Theater.
Doors open at 5 p.m., and the event is free and open to the public.
In partnership with the Gas South District Speaker Series, the podcast is designed to create space for thoughtful, forward-looking conversations about the issues shaping Gwinnett County and the opportunities ahead for its residents, businesses and community.
“This podcast is about bringing people closer to the conversation,” said Hendrickson. “It’s an opportunity to talk honestly about where Gwinnett is today, where we’re headed, and how we continue to move forward together as one community.”
The debut episode will feature a panel of local leaders, including Access and Opportunity Officer Aisha DeBerry, Police Chief J.D. McClure, Rowen Foundation President and CEO Mason Ailstock and Gas South District President and CEO Stan Hall. The discussion will focus on key issues shaping Gwinnett’s future, including growth, public safety, access to opportunity and economic development.
“We’re proud to partner with Chairwoman Hendrickson to bring this important conversation to the Gas South Theater as part of the Gas South District Speaker Series,” said Hall. “This reflects our shared commitment to creating spaces where the community can come together, engage and be part of meaningful dialogue about the future of Gwinnett.”
Following the discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a live audience Q&A.
