Construction is underway for the interior renovation of the Gwinnett County Public Library headquarters. Upgrades will address current and future space requirements, along with roof and HVAC replacements, parking lot repairs, and the installation of a natural gas generator.

The building, which also housed the Lawrenceville Branch, was left partially vacant after the branch moved to the new Hooper-Renwick Themed Library last summer. The $5.27 million project was awarded to Multiplex LLC, with $2.4 million funded by SPLOST.
