Creating St. Patrick’s Day crafts, joining a glow skate party, and taking a cold plunge are just a few things to do in Gwinnett this weekend. 

Check out these events taking place Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 8.


Little arts and craft fans are in luck

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early at Shamrock Shenanigans on Friday, March 6 at the George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center! From 11:00am to 1:00pm, children ages 2 to 5 can enjoy hands-on crafts, a leprechaun hide-and-seek adventure, story time, and festive activities that spark imagination. 

This event costs $5 for Gwinnett residents. Light refreshments will be provided.

Get your glow on

Bring your skates and neon outfits to the Glow Skate Party on Friday, March 6 at the Pinckneyville Park Roller Hockey Rink! From 7:30pm to 9:30pm, skate the night away to music, neon art, and more. This event is free for Gwinnett residents ages 3 and up. Food concessions will be available.

Embrace the cold with an icy plunge

Kick off Parks and Recreation's 40th anniversary at the Polar Plunge on Saturday, March 7 at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center. From 5:00pm to 7:00pm, brave the icy waters, have free s’mores by the fire, and enjoy fun games and cozy activities indoors. 

This event is free for Gwinnett residents of all ages. Food trucks and warm drinks will be available for purchase.
