Glass and Paper Recycling Event

Join Gwinnett Solid Waste Management and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful for four days of glass and paper recycling across the county. Residents are encouraged to drop off glass and paper at no cost. Paper will be shredded on site and should be in disposable containers which will not be returned. This is a rain or shine event. Please see below for dates and locations:

Tuesday, September 10
Peachtree Ridge Park
3170 Suwanee Creek Road, Suwanee

Wednesday, September 11
Lucky Shoals Park
4651 Britt Road, Norcross
Thursday, September 12
Lenora Park
4515 Lenora Church Road, Snellville

America Recycles Day

Join us to celebrate America Recycles Day on November 2 from 9:00am until noon at Gwinnett Fairgrounds. Residents can drop off electronics, clothing and sneakers, latex and oil-based paints, and tires. Paper shredding will also be available. This is a rain or shine event and is brought to you by the Gwinnett Solid Waste Management and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful.
 
Here are some things to remember before you come:
  • Paper shredding is limited to five copier paper boxes
  • Oil-based and latex paint will be accepted and limited to 10 gallons per vehicle 
  • Tires without rims are limited to eight tires per vehicle; no dealer tires
  • Electronics recycling is free except for TVs, monitors and printers – ($35 cash fee per projection/console TV; $15 cash fee per computer monitor or TV; $5 cash fee per printer)

Electronics normally recycled include CD/DVD players, cable equipment, cameras/camcorders, cash registers, cellphones, circuit boards, computers, copiers, fax machines, hard drives, keyboards, laptops, mainframes, mice, monitors, POS equipment, printers, scanners, security equipment, servers, speakers, telephone systems, televisions, terminals, typewriters, and VCR players.

Earth Day

Gwinnett Solid Waste Management partners with Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful to celebrate Earth Day every year. Residents will be able to drop off hard to recycle items which include clothing, paint, electronics, sneakers, tires, and paper. Check back for more information for our 2025 Earth Day event.
