County Calendar

A hands-on enrichment experience where visitors get to see the world through the eyes (and paws!) of shelter pets.

Guests will rotate through interactivedog and cat enrichment stations, learning how animals think, problem-solve, and stay mentally stimulated. You’ll create easy DIY enrichment toys and activities using everyday household items — perfect to try at home with your own pets.

This fun, family-friendly event is designed to educate, inspire, and strengthen the human-animal bond while showing how enrichment improves shelter pets’ daily lives. Come build, play, and imagine a world where paws had thumbs!
