County Calendar

Homeschool families are invited to come explore an authentic 1800s homestead and compare and contrast a child's life in the past with today. Sort and classify objects found from different centuries, engage in hands-on activities such as historic farm chores, and play with historic toys and games. Experience reading and writing lessons in the historic one room schoolhouse and investigate all of the outbuildings on site.

This program aligns with Kindergarten Georgia Standards of Excellence curriculum, but all grade levels are welcome.

All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. This is not a drop-off program. Children 3 and under are free and do not need to register and do not need to register.
