  • Digital Counties Survey Award from the Center for Digital Government, seventh place in the 500,000 to 999,999 population category
  • National Assocation of Counties Achievement Award for Employee Self-Service Application for Public Safety to streamline workflow and the approval process for public safety employees in the police, sheriff, and fire and emergency medical departments
  • National Assocation of Counties Achievement Award for Glass Recycling Program that involves drop-off bins throughout the county’s 436 square miles and a computer application to manage pickups, record weights, and pay the haulers
  • National Assocation of Counties Achievement Award for Online Tour Scheduling of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center that allows residents to schedule tours online and enables the site administrator to manage the schedule
  • National Assocation of Counties Achievement Award for Online Donations for Volunteer Gwinnett, making it easier for Volunteer Gwinnett to accept donations online using credit cards
  • National Assocation of Counties Achievement Award for Zelle Payments for Jurors, enabling jurors to be able to receive payment in a fast and secure manner

  • Model Court Designation awarded by The Council of Accountability Court Judges to Gwinnett DUI Court and Gwinnett Mental Health Court

Planning & Development

  • National Association of Counties Achievement Award for Remote Inspections Program that has enhanced customer service while reducing fuel costs and carbon emissions
  • Support System Award from the Gwinnett Chamber for the Gwinnett Entrepreneur Center, recognizing organizations who demonstrate exceptional business practices and entrepreneurial excellence
