Gwinnett Great Days Of Service Project Submission Form
We welcome service projects that align with Gwinnett County's standards of excellence. Volunteer Gwinnett reserves the right to deny or remove a service project. The deadline to fill out this form is August 17, 2025. Volunteer project opportunities will be posted by September 1, 2025. Please contact VolunteerGwinnett@GwinnettCounty.com with any questions.
Who Can Host a Project?
Gwinnett Serves welcomes a broad range of organizations committed to community impact and aligned with Gwinnett County's values, including:
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
- Civic and neighborhood associations
- Youth and alumni associations
- Faith-based organizations
- Historical societies and cultural organizations
- Schools, PTAs, and university-affiliated clubs or departments
- Colleges, universities, and student organizations
- Community-based service organizations
- Government-affiliated programs and advisory boards
Participating Organizations Must:
- Align with Gwinnett County's strategic priorities and uphold the Gwinnett Standard of Excellence.
- Submit all required forms and project information by the annual deadline (Sunday, August 17).
- Ensure clear supervision, volunteer guidance, and robust safety protocols are in place.
- Agree to the terms outlined in the Gwinnett Serves Collaborative Letter of Agreement (received once your project is approved)
Ineligible Project Types or Activities:
- Projects not open to all members of the public for volunteer participation.
- Projects that do not align with Gwinnett County's strategic priorities
- Long-term or recurring projects without a clear start/end date or defined community impact
- Projects without adequate supervision, safety measures, or volunteer engagement
- Projects that take place on private property, including individual homes or locations not publicly accessible.
- Projects that require volunteers to donate funds or purchase expensive supplies to participate.
- Events that exist only to raise funds without a hands-on service component
- Projects not based in Gwinnett County
Note: Gwinnett Great Days of Service project participation is not open to private individuals, for-profit entities, political or lobbying groups, or projects focused on direct fundraising, candidate endorsements, or proselytizing.
