The Business Relationship Management Team is responsible for bridging the gap between the IT organization and customers. In addition, the team is responsible for the following activities:
- Serves as IT point of contact for business senior management on IT service related matters
- Understands the assigned departments’ business mission, challenges, expectations and strategic objectives
- Identifies technology solutions to improve business processes and/or challenges of assigned departments
- Works with assigned County departments throughout the year to identify and develop jointly business cases for capital projects
- Ensures agreed upon service levels are tracked properly and reported to the customers regularly
- Informs IT senior management of customers’ concerns and performance issues
- Works closely with IT management to resolve performance issues and seek improvements
