Award BL130-11, full inspection, testing,
maintenance, repair, and installation services of fire alarm systems
at various County buildings on an annual contract, (January 04,
2012 through January 03, 2013), Department of Support Services,
to low responsive bidders, Entec Systems, Inc., Century Fire
Protection, LLC, and Major & Associates dba Canna
Communications, per attached recommendation letter, base bid
$113,020.20 (this represents a 15% decrease over the previous
contract). This contract is funded 57% by the Administration
Support Fund, 33% by the General Fund, 6% by the Recreation
Fund, 2% by the Fleet Management Fund, 1% by the Water &
Sewer Operating Fund, and 1% from the Airport Operating Fund.
