Meet the pet
- Visit the Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center during its hours of operation.
- Access to the property is prohibited before 7:30am, including lining up, parking, or obstructing the entrance.
- Sign-in begins at 8:30am Monday through Saturday.
- The kennel opens at 11:00am. Those who signed in to meet a specific animal will be escorted back into the kennel.
- After those who signed in for specific animals finish their visit, everyone is welcome to enter the kennel to see available animals.
- Bring your family and family dog to determine if the shelter pet will be a good addition
Please note: If you leave the line for any reason, you will lose your place. Leaving an inanimate object as a placeholder does not hold your spot in line.
