Warming Stations

Warming stations will open Saturday, January 24 at 4:30pm through Monday, January 26 at 9:30am with the possibility of extended hours as weather conditions evolve.

During the January 2026 winter weather event, the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center will open the Nash Building jury assembly area as a warming station at 4:30pm on Saturday, January 24. Located at 75 Langley Drive, enter the facility through the 4th floor of the GJAC parking deck.

WE'RE HIRING!

Join our team of Warming Station Attendants to help keep residents safe and warm during the coldest nights. Attendants must be available to work overnight from 5:30pm to 7:00am when stations are activated. Hourly pay is $18. Learn more and apply today at GwinnettCounty.com/WarmingStationsJob.

Gwinnett County will open warming stations for residents to receive temporary, overnight relief when temperatures reach 35 degrees and below.

Residents who visit the sites will be able to warm up, eat a meal, and get some rest. The warming stations will be available from 6:00pm until 7:00am.
