Drug Court • DUI Court • Mental Health Court • Veterans Court

Eligibility Requirements

Substance abuse and/or mental health diagnosis

  • Must provide medical history (dated within one year)
  • Mental Health Court requires Severe and Persistent Mental Illness
  • Veterans Court requires 90+ days of active duty (DD-214 required)
  • DUI Court is for repeat DUI offenders

Residency

  • Must live in Gwinnett County
  • Transfers accepted from other Georgia counties with reciprocal programs

Disqualifications

  • Sex offenses, murder, rape, armed robbery (withfirearm), aggravated child crimes
  • History of violent offenses or gang affiliation
  • Unresolved charges/holds in other jurisdictions
  • Trafficking
  • Possession with intent to distribute
  • History of noncompliance in a structured setting

Program Fees

  • Drug Court: $175 eval fee, $155/month (first 90 days free)
  • DUI Court: $150 eval fee, $200/month
