The Gwinnett District Attorney’s Office is committed to keeping the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit at the forefront of legal excellence through sustained, forward-thinking training for prosecutors and law enforcement. Led by Chief Assistant District Attorney John Melvin and Executive Assistant District Attorney Mike Carlson, our Advanced Legal Training equips prosecutors and law enforcement with the latest developments in evidentiary law as well as proven courtroom appellate strategies.

Building on our 2025 statewide initiative, this office will continue to grow and strengthen this program in 2026 and for the foreseeable future—ensuring that prosecutors and investigators across Georgia and beyond remain prepared, informed, and equipped to pursue justice at the highest standard.

CLE and POST credit are planned and should be available.
